I would cut out the nutritional information from the nutri system meals and take them to the grocery store with you and compare it with varieties like lean cuisine, weight watchers and budget gourmet. Chances are, there isn’t much difference. Weight watchers also offers frozen desserts, if you are interested in that, too.

Nutrisystem is about $300.00 for a month’s supply of a breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack. That comes out to about $2.50 per item.

Weight Watchers, Lean Cuisine and South Beach offer frozen entrees that are low in fat. However, they cost at least or more than $2.50 per meal.

On the upside, Weight Watchers, Lean Cuisie and South Beach meals taste much better than Nutrisystem. The Nutrisystem stuff is gross. The burgers are freeze dried, the pudding is gritty, and the eggs are powered.

Check out the 100-calorie packs for snacks. You can get boxes of 6 for about $2.50 to $3.00 per box.
