Even tho it’s been said to be good for our body, I have yet to see the real results coming from someone who can really claim their health has improved tremendously from drinking it. Really, to me, it’s been overrated

If you drink the diet green tea from the bottle, it is probably not as effective as freshly brewed green tea from tea bags or loose leaf tea. In my opinion, it’s been sitting around for a long time and the antioxidants from tea and the EGCG, both which help rid the body of free radicals and help fight disease and other ailments, are not as effective. Freshly brewed tea has plenty of antioxidants and EGCG and will surely benefit your health.
Even if it keeps you from drinking sodas and high calorie juices, it benefits you. good luck.
If you are drinking bottled green tea, you are unlikely to get the full green tea health benefits.
The US Department of Agriculture compares different teas for their antioxidant content.
100 millimetres of regular green tea contains 127 milligrams of catechins.
Instant green tea has only 12 milligrams.
Why? Because instant green tea is made from the lowest grade green tea, the leftover bit, or those picked in the summer. The processing doesn’t help.
The healthiest green tea is loose green tea made from very young tea shoots picked early spring - you can read an article I have written below.
