Natural Body Cleanse - Detoxifying Your Body Through Natural Methods

June 19, 2010

When you feel like you have too many pollutants and toxins in your body, you might want to undergo a body cleanse. This process detoxifies and keeps toxins purged out from your body, eliminating your system from the harsh effects of foreign chemicals that stay inside it. It refreshes your organs, in general, and keeps them healthy, as well. While most people may argue about the real effects of this kind of cleansing, it cannot be denied that a lot of people now welcome this alternative therapy.

Keeping yourself free from chemicals and toxins the natural way may be quite easier than you think. For starters, refraining yourself from eating too much food with lots of additives is a step. Reading the labels and ingredients in the food you eat can definitely help, as well. Remove MSG (monosodium glutamate) from your diet can help you to lead on a chemical-free diet.

In addition to removing food with chemicals from your diet, you may also consider switching to organically grown fruits and vegetables. These veggies and fruits are those which have been grown without the use of artificial chemicals such as pesticides and insecticides. They have been grown chemically free, and naturally, so you don’t have to worry about adding more chemicals to your body.

Eating fresh fruits and raw vegetables can also clean your insides. Fresh fruits on empty stomachs can heighten metabolism, thereby giving your stomach more energy to absorb all the vitamins and nutrients found in fruits. Keep away from canned fruits or heated fruits, because while they may taste the same, they may not retain all the nutrients that they really have in the first place.

Cooked fruits only retain the taste, but not the nutrients. So you may want to consider eating that ‘organic’ apple pie the next time. It’s also the same with vegetables. When you cook them, you generally lose their nutrients and all their goodness to flush out toxins from your body. Eating raw veggies once in a while could definitely help your detoxification process in the long run.

Water therapy may also be considered as a natural body cleanse program. Since bodies are made up of water, keeping your cells hydrated would help it excrete the bad toxins out. They may be in form of sweat, oil, or other body wastes. The key here is to replace those body fluids with fresh water, thereby jump starting your excretory system to push out toxins out of your body and excrete them out. Water actually helps purge them.

As eight glasses of water are recommended each day, it doesn’t hurt if you want to drink even more. This would let your body quickly replace lost fluids. And because it also contains oxygen, your system would get more oxygen, as well.

Meat has high saturated fat - you may also want to stop eating such. With these things in mind, total body cleanse does not seem to be so hard. With the right determination and a good body cleanse diet plan, you can easily lead on to a healthier body.
