If you’re on the treadmill at the gym or out on a local nature path, anyone can enjoy walking. For those starting out, keep it slow and steady; you can always get better. Experts say that walking is as good for your health as running, provided that you maintain an elevated heart rate for at least 20 to 30 minutes.
