I drink 1.5 LITERS of lipton diet green tea every day, is this healthy?

I’m trying to lose weight, and I’m not sure all the sodium will help me do that. But isn’t green tea really good for you? I don’t know, help!
will it make me gain weight?

    It’s not bad for you, but the artificial sweeteners have been linked to many other health problems.

    but if you are looking for the health benefits of green tea, then you want to drink the real green tea. you need to start drinking the traditional japanese style of green tea.

    but you still need to keep drinking lots of water, too.

    Sodium is not all that unhealthy so long as you don’t exceed the recommended daily allowance. I love that Lipton green tea as well. As far as weight in regards to sodium, sodium does make you retain water weight. Body builders usually cut sodium out completely 3 wks before a show to help shed those last few pounds of water weight. If you are going to the beach or have a specific date in mind you might try this. For the long term keeping your sodium intake extremely low is just to hard and unhealthy. You should be fine, your body actually needs sodium.
