Create A Calorie Deficit.

It is a well documented fact that you have to take in less calories than you burn. For instance if you take in 2500 calories a day as a sedentary person. You can adjust that figure to incorporate exercise by burning 500 calories and taking in less calories food wise.

Adopt An Optimal Eating Plan.

It is always good to plan your meals, just as you would plan anything else that is important to you. You could go about this by planning to eat six meals a day. Then you could plan to eat every three hours of the day. Next you could plan to eat in the ratio of 60% carbs, 30% protein, and 10% fat.

You could also cut out certain foods from your eating plan. For instance you could eliminate sugar as much as you can. Also incorporate complex carbs such as whole grain, fruits and vegetables, while eliminating simple carbs such as white bread etc.

Stay Hydrated And lose Fat.

Water is a big player in the weight loss game. By staying hydrated all the time your body will burn fat more efficiently. This is one of the reasons that alcohol slows down fat metabolism. The alcohol dehydrates the body so in the long run slows down fat burning.

Recover Effectively.

We burn fat while we sleep. So it makes sense to to get at least seven hours sleep every night.
