Cassie asks:
I was wondering, is there a safe supplement I can take to do a home colon cleansing that I can get from GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, etc (or a local health store in Orange County, CA)? I don’t want to order any product over the internet. Also, how long does it usually take to work? Can I do it all in one day? Because I am on meds that I have to take everyday, and I’m sure it would flush the meds out of my system, but if I could do it in the morning anad take my meds by night it should be fine. I don’t want to have a colon irrigation procedure, so I’m looking for a safe home alternative. Thanks/!/

Home alternative you say. Good old fashion prune juice and lots of water. Buy an enema bag. Plain water will work. They come with an attachment for the hole next door, so you might as well give that a thorough cleansing while you’re in the neighborhood. Couldn’t hurt.
There are usually several cleanse programs available at health food stores…..the one i recommend the most is called revivalX it is a complete digestive and colon cleanse….or there is another called ultimate cleanse, a little cheaper than the first…..ask at the health food store, that’s the best option…
BEST ONE: Women’s Renew available at Super Supplements. It is very affordable! It’s a three pill process that is actually very “light” on your body - no diarrhea and no cramping. It’s specifically formulated for women (there is also one for men). It takes two weeks to complete one program, however you can extend it to a month. If you are using this as a dietary supplement, make sure you are eating healthy and try to get at least a walk in every day - trust me, it helps!
Some tips with any intestenal cleansing:
If you are on medications, take them 30 minutes prior to taking the Women’s Renew - this gives your body the time to absorb the medication correctly.
Drink LOTS of water!! Believe it or not, more water helps you go easier!
Good tip for constipation, too.
Include a supplement called “Jarro-Dopholius” - it’s good bacteria that would otherwise be completely wiped out of your ssytem, and you do need some of it.
