Healthy Ways To Lose Fat - Lose Weight The Healthy Way

December 5, 2009

The healthy ways to lose fat are still, and probably always will be, through diet and exercise. We all want to find the magic pill we can take to make the fat simply melt off. Unfortunately, losing fat is going to take some effort.

Not that there are not products that can help. There are. But you should not rely on those as the key ingredient to losing fat. It is most important to change your bad habits to good ones. Bad habits are usually what led you to excess fat to begin with, and they will lead you right back if you do not learn good ones.

As for the diet part, what is really meant is your way of eating. Diet has a negative connotation and implies you are going to restrict your portions and be miserable. The best way to start losing fat and keep it off is simple. Not easy, but simple. Stop eating all processed foods.

Processed foods means any foods that did not come from nature in that form. Just ask yourself if the food you are thinking of eating actually came off the hoof, tree or vine in that form. If it did, it is good to eat. For example, breads and pastas are processed while rice is not. Added sugars and fats should be avoided as much as possible, such as those used in frying foods and in heavy sauces. If you follow these guidelines, you do not need to count calories and units. It is much more difficult to overeat when you are eating only whole foods.

Speaking of sugar, it is a processed food. It does not come off the cane in granules. For sweeteners, switch to natural ones such as honey and maple syrup. And, of course, you should cut down on these as well. If you are craving sweets, try a piece of fruit. Fruit juice, of course, does not come off a tree so it should be avoided. Juices are very high in simple sugars that will get stored in your body as fat, as you can drink far more portions of fruit than you can eat.

You must be sure that you get plenty of fresh filtered or bottled water on a daily basis. You will be losing fat, and this will need to be flushed out of your body. Toxic reactions can occur if you are not drinking sufficient water.

Motivation to begin and maintain regular exercise can be a struggle. It is especially difficult if you are physically restricted due to your weight. Remember, it is ok to start out with a little at a time. Walking is perfect. Start out with ten minutes a day and work up to more. The important thing is to start.

Keeping a diary of your exercise and food intake can be a great asset to fat loss. If you are honest when you are making your notes, it will keep you honest. No one likes to look back over the day before and discover they cheated more times than they realized. Conversely, as you start losing fat, looking back over the hard work you accomplished will make you more motivated to continue.

Diet and exercise are likely to always be the key healthy ways to Healthy Fat Loss Exercises. But at least the above diet is one that is relatively simple and does not leave you feeling unsatisfied after every meal. And, more importantly, you develop a great habit that will improve every aspect of your health, not just help you to lose fat. Discover Quick Fat Loss today!
