High fiber foods like whole grain cereals, breads, pasta. Apples are good, full of fiber.
Sorry, but what is all this bs about “cleansing/detox?”
A reasonably healthy body does an excellent job of keeping
itself clean even when abused (”cleansed”) by it’s owner.
Eat healthy, exercise, and drink when you’re thirsty or just
want to. That’s all you need to do! Your fantastically designed
body will do the rest. And your wallet will be proud of you!
Sure - eat several pieces of fruit, like oranges, apples, plums, pears, etc. Also drink a lot of water - at least 32 oz. per day. Twice that amount is even better. You don’t have to drink and eat all of this at once. Spread it out through the day, make it part of your meals and snacks.
Eat lots of raw fibrous vegetables, especially carrots and celery. Two cups of raw baby carrots a day and drink lots of filtered water- you’ll see a visible difference (ew!) in a couple of days.
The best things are water and fiber. If you’re not getting enough fiber in your diet you can supplement it with something like Citrucel or Metamucil. Anything else is unadvisable - laxatives are only to be used in case of constipation. Enemas can be used for constipation as well but for colonic cleansing (so-called) they’re excessive as they disrupt the normal bacterial flora. Trust your body - it already has mechanisms in place to keep the colon healthy.
As a side note, avoid smoke - either by smoking or in smoked foods, as your colon definitely dislikes raw carbon.
Don’t eat junk food and drinks lots of water.
They have a natural supplement at trader joes…its great, its called cleanse smart..there is a pill for the morning and a pill for at night. also eat lots of fruit and fiber
You would probably need to get some advice probably from a health food shop/ doctor etc.
I did try Aloe vera crystals - be warned, although I probably did get a good old clear out it left areas very sore. So you really need to know what you are getting yourself into.
I would probably opt for the healthy food alternatives that others have suggested.
Find out eating oats and juicing fruits and vege works best for me.
All you need is plenty of fiber and roughage that you can get from bread, cereals, muesli and pasta and plenty of fruit and vegetables.
Liquid chlorophyll is an excellent colon cleanser and apple cider vinegar also helps.
Enemas are totally unnecessary.
