Are those colon cleanse photos for real?

I recently had a colonoscopy. I was very well cleaned out before the procedure, and I never saw any of the ropy lumpy things they show photos of. And the doctor would not have been able to do the procedure if those ropy things were in the way.

So does this mean I never had the ropy things, or the prep got rid of them?

Or does it mean that those ads are totally fake?

    Those things do come out when you do a colon cleanse, what isn’t soo clear though is whether those things are in you to begin with or whether the colon cleanse products are the cause of them, which seems likely

    I think they likely pick people who have conditions or are unhealthy, so that they get a convincing picture. They’re prolly not fake, but how likely they are to happen to everyone may not be very high.
